At Shenandoah you have a faculty advisor based upon your major who will guide course selection, internships and other issues related to your major. Learners also have access to the Office of Academic Advising, Transitions and Progression (AATP) for additional support. The AATP focus is to help you achieve your academic goals, regardless of your major.

I want to take a course at my local community college; what’s the process for transferring that course to Shenandoah?

Prior to taking a course at a community college, you’ll want to get the course approved by filling out the Permission to 研究 Elsewhere Form. 你会收到一封电子邮件 advising@mizuki-u.com if you are approved to take the course, and what it will transfer in as. I am a transfer student; do I have to take FYS?

As a transfer student, you will take an additional three-credit course from the 导航的差异 sphere instead of the traditional FYS. If you have earned an associate’s degree (not Associate of Applied 科学) prior to transferring, your general education requirements are waived and you won’t have to take this either!

What’s the difference between withdrawing and dropping a course?

Dropping a course does not count as an attempt on your academic record, where a withdrawal shows up on your transcript as an attempt, 成绩是" W.”
